Wil's first visit to Ohio

We stopped by to see a few friends in Xenia Ohio while up in West Virginia. Ms. Madge, Janet and Sarah treated us to dinner and some good company at their lovely house. Ms. Madge is a true Gator fan and wanted to hear all the news from Gainesville. Janet is celebrating her first granddaughter Ruby Grace and enjoyed playing with Wil. Wil latched onto Sarah's hand and wouldn't let go! Thanks for a fun visit Madge, Janet and Sarah!

Wil visits Uncle Stanton and Uncle Tim!

For July 4th we took a 12 hour road trip (Wil's longest so far!) to Clarksburg West Virginia. We stayed with Jason's uncle Stanton and Aunt Anita. Wil got to bond a little with his Uncle Tim, Aunt Pam, and his cousins Madison and Savanah. Wil entertained us all-even Buzz! We did a lot of visiting and ate Stanton's good dinners! We even took a road trip to Audra State Park. Because the water was so high we didn't get to swim, but Wil got to play on the riverbank! We all had fun and Wil is proving to be a good traveling companion!

Wil visits DC

On the way up to visit some of Jason's family we took a detour to Washington DC. We only had about 5 hours, so we walked fast! It was the 3rd of July so we all put on our patriotic duds and toured the National mall! Our little patriot had a good time and was a very reverant baby! We saw the Washington, Lincoln, Vietnam War, World War II, Korean War, FDR and Jefferson Memorials. The Lincoln and Jefferson memorials made nice diaper changing stations! Our last stop was the White House. Wil got a little fussy here. He knows that politicians like to hold babies and was concerned that Bush would want to hold him!

Going Green!

Wil got a visit from Sabrina and Eric last week! We ate lunch, played with Eric's trucks, talked, and took pictures! I believe we set a world's record in the rocking chair: Most green things in a rocking chair in motion! I guess you could say the visit rocked!

Hangin' with our Main Man Wil!

We didn't travel this weekend because Jason had to take a few work related tests. So just stayed home, worked on the yard, watched movies and cooked! You don't need much entertainment with Wil around! Next weekend we are off to West Virginia to Uncle Stanton's house!

BBQ and Best Friends!

Wil had the chance to meet more new friends last week. Marisa and her mom met us at Sonny's in Wildwood for some BBQ and ketchup! I was so happy Mrs. Ciak came along-she happily took Wil for a walk when he got fussy! She also taught him Patty-Cake which he loved! It was so good to see you again, Ris!
After lunch I strapped the boy in and we stopped by to see Mayra (my work buddy.) Her daughter Krista was born a day before Wil and she is one hot chile pepper! Wil had fun partying at her crib and he had some trusted supervision from her big sis Leslie! Mayra and I will start back to work together the third week in July. We will be missing our babes together!

Way Down Upon the Suwannee River!

We have returned from our awesome vacation on the Suwannee River that Mom and Dad treated us to! There was absolutely no cell phone reception, no internet, and no easy way to get to these lovely houses! But we still had a blast! We met new family, snorkled, ate Mom's cooking, pontooned, canoed, kayaked, played with the puppy, fished, changed a whole lot of diapers, raced golf carts, swam, explored, played cards, crawled, put together puzzles, cooked, played horseshoes, floated down the river, played scrabble, dressed up the babies, and talked a lot! We saw locusts, alligators, sturgeon, fish, buzzards, cranes, one elephant and scads of snakes! It was so good to get all of us together and we even had the pleasure of having Great Grandma Jane and Aunt Karen and Uncle Richard along! Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful river trip!
