Christmas Day at Uncle Davids!
Before heading to Stacey's house, we stopped by my Uncle David's house for some yuletide fun with the family! Wil met his cousin Abigail (my cousin Jim's daughter who is 2 weeks older than Wil!) We enjoyed watching the babies romp and it was good just to get together. Grandpa Hoyt was there, Grandma Mona, Grandpa Dan, Uncle David, Aunt Jeanie, Jim, Kelly and her family. The highlight of the evening was Mom giving the babies baths!
Christmas in Freeport!
After Grandma Janes we hit the road and stayed at Grandma Terry's for Christmas. Wil enjoyed his first Christmas we think-he had fun watching all the Christmas commotion! He ate so many wonderful things and jumped on the trampoline at Grandma's from Santa. Judging by the movement I was feeling, Elsie appreciated the good food too! Jason and I enjoyed the ease of Christmas with an 8 month old. Next year may be a little crazier! We stayed at Aunt Stacey and Uncle Danny's house and ate more good food and played with Axl the tiny rat terrier! Afterwards a stop at Mr. Norman's house was fun and he gave us a big bag of pecans!
Christmas Eve at Grandma Jane's house!
We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma Jane's house. We ate great holiday food-including Grandma Mona's famous Christmas tree cookies-a big hit with Wil! Then we played Santa Swap and scored some real cool gifts! Wil got to see Grandma Jane, Grandpa Hoyt, Great Aunt Mary and Karen, Great Uncle David and Richard, Grandma Mona and Grandpa Dan and his Gator cousins James and Sara! What a good time!
Congrats Nurse Jessie!
Home Sweet Home
Here are some random shots of Wil and our friends Jon and Jessica who came over for the Heisman awards. Tebow didn't make it this year, but the Heisman curse is alive and well! Watch out Sam Bradford!

SEC CHAMPS!
Grandma Terry and Aunt Jenny brought in reinforcements for some excellent babysitting! Abbie, Winter, Justin and Aubriyah allowed Jason and I to make a trip to Atlanta for the SEC championship. We were sucessful and we were victorious! It was a nailbiting game and so much fun! Jason treated me to Varsity burgers since I have been curious-Yum! Then we high-tailed it home to Wil and the gang. We ate breakfast and saw off the crew. Wil had so much fun with his cousins-especially at the park! Thanks crew!
The Soak at Doak!
After leaving Grandpa's we headed up to Jason's Aunt Stacey's house. Uncle Tim and Uncle Stanton were there with their families too. Stacey and the bunch volunteered to watch Wil for us as we sat through the rain soaked victory at Doak Campbell stadium against FSU. We wore rain jackets, Subway socks (sandwich bags from Subway) and trashbags because "in all kinds of weather we all stick together!" Wes came over with Kasey, Zac, Gracey and the Wolf-Man! Little Wyatt is getting bigger and cuter by the day! On Sunday we drove home to Gainesville and Wil helped pick out his very first Christmas tree!
Thanksgiving on the farm!
We celebrated Thanksgiving at my Grandpa Hoyt's house in Perry with Mom and Dad and Uncle David. Bill got there first, we joined up on Wednesday night and Becky came over Thursday and stayed till Friday. It was good to see all the grand boys together again since the last visit together was July. They were a lot more interactive with each other and seemed to enjoy their time wrasling on the floor! We missed Aunt Katie, but we climbed the barn in tribute! We took a walk, played on all of Grandpa's equiptment, watched Survivor, watched football, ate a ton of great food, blew off fireworks, visited, had a banana eating contest on the porch and all the boys had tub baths on the kitchen counter! Grandma Jane, Aunt Karen and Uncle Richard came in for the day. Aunt Mary, Uncle David and James and Sarah joined us for fireworks and Aunt Jeanie came over Friday with Chi-Chi, her new puppy! Everyone headed out Friday in all different directions but it was so good to see all that family under one roof! I was very thankful for this rare treat! Thanks also Grandpa for letting us run wild again at your house!
Jake takes the family to Gainesville!
Uncle Jake, Aunt Hester and Wil's cousins Abbie, Winter and Justin came over to go to the Citadel game with us! The kids witnessed Mr. Two Bits last cheer before retiring. Wil took everyone on a tour of campus, we ate a mini-Thanksgiving meal and on Sunday we took them to Devil Millhopper State Park for a nature walk.

Spurrier, Gary, Ji and Jill
This weekend we welcomed Gary and Ji and Jill over to watch the South Carolina game with us. Its usually pretty dramatic when Steve Spurrier comes back to the swamp and this year was no different. We had fun eating and catching up after the game.
First trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house!
We had such a cool time up in North Carolina at Grandpa and Grandma Kimble's house! We hung out at mom's, ate her home cooking, bathed Wil in the kitchen sink, toured Aunt Laura's house and flower shop, made crafts and welcomed Emilee into Tryon. Emilee is Laura's daughter and she brought her man Marcus and her girl Savannah. They are staying with Laura a few days before moving out to California and we chose the right weekend to be there! I had not seen Emilee in years so we talked about pregnancy and motherhood together. The next day we left for Nashville. Mom and Dad were so sweet to volunteer to come along, share a hotel room and provide "mobile babysitting" for us as we watched the Gators beat Vanderbuilt. We wish we could have had more time, but I always wish that when I go up to see my folks! I think Wil gained about 3 pounds from the spoiling! We had 5 poopy diaper changes on the way home!
Meeting new friends!
Jason took us to meet a few friends of his Ms. Marie and Ms. Velma. Wil charmed them and told them all about his first Halloween!
Trick or Treat-Revenge is Sweet!
For Halloween weekend my mom made Wil a orange and blue clown fish costume to match my mermaid costume from last year. We went trick or treating with Kevin, Becky and Camden. We thought Kevin's sister's neighborhood would be the most fun so we walked with Joani, Maddie and Jake around a couple of blocks. Maddie and Jake hopped along as a frog and bunny. Camden and Kevin went as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. Afterwards Joani had snacks for us and we went back to Becky's to hand out more candy. Aunt Becky made an excellent babysitter for us as we went to the Florida/Georgia game. We suffered a loss last year but got our revenge as we beat the Dawgs 49-10. The boys had a good time together at the Landing when Becky and Kevin took them for an outing. Candy, Cousins and Victory!

Homecoming!
Homecoming found us at Gator Growl Friday night with Melanie and Todd. We watched comedian John Reep and listened to the Steve Miller Band. Wil loved the music and watching the fireworks too! The next day the Farmers rolled into the Swamp! Aunt Mary offered to babysit as she watched the game from our house (Thank you!) The rest of us watched the Gators embarass UK! We ate tacos at home-Wil tried to eat James's hat! We watched more football and Aunt Mary showed us a few new tricks!
Marisa comes down and we go over!
We were thrilled to get a night and morning with Marissa! Wil and I picked her up at the airport and we just hung out, cooked, made beads, entertained Wil, watched Survivor, watched the Rays beat Boston, and shared some laughs! I dropped her off to her Dad the next day but I wanted to take her with me to Alabama again! We dropped Wil off with his cousins in Crawfordville, traveled to Bama, came home and held Wyatt. I only got to hold him a little b/c someone was getting jealous! It was fun to see Wil being held by his older cousins! They all get along so well!
Wyatt's arrival and LSU!
Whoa! What a weekend! It began excitedly with a hurried drive to Tallahassee to welcome in Wil's new cousin, Wyatt Hollington! Wyatt was born around 10:30 on Friday night and we got there about 10 minutes after he was born! (See Kasey's blog!) It was sweet to see him weighed, measured, cleaned and wrapped up! He is a pretty baby and very fun to hold! Then we ran back to Gainesville the next day because Jason's Uncle Joe, Aunt Robin, Aunt Sharon and her neice Alisha were coming down for the LSU game. We enjoyed showing them around campus, taking them to the Gator Walk and cheering on our Gators to an exciting and satisfying victory over the Tigers from LSU!
