Hangin' with our Main Man Wil!

We didn't travel this weekend because Jason had to take a few work related tests. So just stayed home, worked on the yard, watched movies and cooked! You don't need much entertainment with Wil around! Next weekend we are off to West Virginia to Uncle Stanton's house!

BBQ and Best Friends!

Wil had the chance to meet more new friends last week. Marisa and her mom met us at Sonny's in Wildwood for some BBQ and ketchup! I was so happy Mrs. Ciak came along-she happily took Wil for a walk when he got fussy! She also taught him Patty-Cake which he loved! It was so good to see you again, Ris!
After lunch I strapped the boy in and we stopped by to see Mayra (my work buddy.) Her daughter Krista was born a day before Wil and she is one hot chile pepper! Wil had fun partying at her crib and he had some trusted supervision from her big sis Leslie! Mayra and I will start back to work together the third week in July. We will be missing our babes together!

Way Down Upon the Suwannee River!

We have returned from our awesome vacation on the Suwannee River that Mom and Dad treated us to! There was absolutely no cell phone reception, no internet, and no easy way to get to these lovely houses! But we still had a blast! We met new family, snorkled, ate Mom's cooking, pontooned, canoed, kayaked, played with the puppy, fished, changed a whole lot of diapers, raced golf carts, swam, explored, played cards, crawled, put together puzzles, cooked, played horseshoes, floated down the river, played scrabble, dressed up the babies, and talked a lot! We saw locusts, alligators, sturgeon, fish, buzzards, cranes, one elephant and scads of snakes! It was so good to get all of us together and we even had the pleasure of having Great Grandma Jane and Aunt Karen and Uncle Richard along! Thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful river trip!

Playing with Adyson

Adyson Jackson came over to my house the other day. (This is my friend that is one day older than me and was born at Shands. We stayed two doors down at the hospital-We go way back!) We like to get together every once in a while and talk and play. It seems all our moms like to do is talk! They do take a few pictures of us when we get together. They say they like to compare how we cry and watch us kick and squirm together. Its nice to have friends like Adyson around!

Gracie's Recital and B-day!

Wil's cousin Gracie May shone like a star at her first dance recital! The whole family came to watch and then we partied! Gracie turned 4 recently and we celebrated with a royal Princess party! We ate "Castle Cake", hit the pinata, made hats, and ate a ton of good food! Wil met his cousins Aaron, Jessica and Brayden and my best friend Farrah. Happy Birthday Gracie!

The Hollington Reunion 08

Wil got to meet so many new family faces at the annual Hollington Reunion at Aunt Tina and Uncle Gerald's house! The only thing as good as the company was the food! Bigger kids were entertained by the trampoline and sprinkler while the little ones were passed around! It was fun to see the not-so-ready-for-kids cousins hold Wil and it was good to see the older generation (Pa's brothers and sisters and cousins) hold him. Thanks to all who came and cooked. Wil loves you!

First Trip to Freeport!

We caravaned with Stanton and Anita and treated Wil to his first visit to Freeport. This was his longest trip so far and he did well with Anita's help! We came into town for the annual Hollington reunion. When we arrived, Granny got off her riding lawn mower to welcome Wil. Then it was on to Grandma Terry's where he met the puppies and a tame fawn named Rambo! We climbed on the tractor with cousins and watched movies! Grandma cooked breakfast for us and we all went to church together. Then on the way home we stopped by to see Pa. He sure would be proud of the newest JW!

Courney's Graduation!

We proudly attendeded Cousin Courtney's high school graduation on May 28th in Tallahassee. Courtney graduated from Leon High and plans to start at FSU in the fall. Stacey and Danny threw her a very cool Graduation Luau and all the family showed up-not bad for a Wednesday night! Wil wore his Hawaiin attire and was passed all up and down our 3 full rows at the Leon County Civic Center! Congratulations Courtney!
