Granny on the Go!

The Hollington sisters have a tradition of taking Granny shopping in new and different places for her birthday. They decided to take it on south to Gainesville this time. Aubriyah came along because she had been wanting to see baby Wil too! This was her first trip to Gainesville so we let her drink out of her own Gator cup! We took baths, ate suicide sherberts, stared at the fish and ate at Outback. On Saturday we hit the Goodwill and headed for downtown Micanopy for some antique shopping. We ran into Cowboy Lyle who showed off his Brahma bull Stardust and trick preforming dog Spice. Wes, Kasey, Zac, Gracey and Wyatt met us there and we caravaned back to the house. Thats when we parted ways-the women for JoAnn's and the kids for the pool! The kids had a good time aggrevating Wes with the whoopie cushion and Kasey got a petticure. Thanks for making it down our way for the shopping trip, Girls!

Granny's Birthday

A birthday celebration for Granny was thrown a couple of weekends back so we headed west! Grandma Terry had a lot of entertainment for Wil-a bunny, a jeep ride, Rambo the deer, movies and (best of all!)the creek! We went to church and then over to Tina's for the B-day lunch! Happy Birthday Granny!

Stacy's Birthday

On the way over to Freeport, we stopped by Aunt Stacy's to wish her a happy birthday and eat some of the yummy cake Courtney made! We swung into a Subway and Wil melted the ladies hearts. It was good to see the Zubers again and wish Stacy a "Happy Birthday" in person!

Stacy

Are you just going to sit there all day?

We got Wil a bumbo seat recently and he has been putting it to use! I love that I can get some work done! The other day I folded clothes and he watched from his chair. He'd sit there and reach for the piles and knock them over. We think he looks pretty cute when he sits around so we thought you may enjoy these!

Babysitting Barbara!

Recently my friend Ms. Barbara LeGrand offered to watch me while mom and dad hit the town for a nice dinner. She introduced me to her son Brett, two kitties and her new puppy! I am a little small to play with the animals, so we mostly ate and played on her couch. It was good to get a break from mom and dad and Barb and I had so much fun!

Wil's first visit to Ohio

We stopped by to see a few friends in Xenia Ohio while up in West Virginia. Ms. Madge, Janet and Sarah treated us to dinner and some good company at their lovely house. Ms. Madge is a true Gator fan and wanted to hear all the news from Gainesville. Janet is celebrating her first granddaughter Ruby Grace and enjoyed playing with Wil. Wil latched onto Sarah's hand and wouldn't let go! Thanks for a fun visit Madge, Janet and Sarah!

Wil visits Uncle Stanton and Uncle Tim!

For July 4th we took a 12 hour road trip (Wil's longest so far!) to Clarksburg West Virginia. We stayed with Jason's uncle Stanton and Aunt Anita. Wil got to bond a little with his Uncle Tim, Aunt Pam, and his cousins Madison and Savanah. Wil entertained us all-even Buzz! We did a lot of visiting and ate Stanton's good dinners! We even took a road trip to Audra State Park. Because the water was so high we didn't get to swim, but Wil got to play on the riverbank! We all had fun and Wil is proving to be a good traveling companion!

Wil visits DC

On the way up to visit some of Jason's family we took a detour to Washington DC. We only had about 5 hours, so we walked fast! It was the 3rd of July so we all put on our patriotic duds and toured the National mall! Our little patriot had a good time and was a very reverant baby! We saw the Washington, Lincoln, Vietnam War, World War II, Korean War, FDR and Jefferson Memorials. The Lincoln and Jefferson memorials made nice diaper changing stations! Our last stop was the White House. Wil got a little fussy here. He knows that politicians like to hold babies and was concerned that Bush would want to hold him!

Going Green!

Wil got a visit from Sabrina and Eric last week! We ate lunch, played with Eric's trucks, talked, and took pictures! I believe we set a world's record in the rocking chair: Most green things in a rocking chair in motion! I guess you could say the visit rocked!
