Goin to Uncle Bill's!

After Angela's house we drove down to Lakeland early Sunday and Bill, Becka and Wyatt served breakfast for us! Katie popped by and hung out with the babes. We toured their new house, Bill's new school and the town of Lakeland. We showed the boys where Aunt Katie and Uncle Brian got married. Jason and I left for the Bucs game while a little tag-team babysitting occured. Wil stayed in Lakeland and then drove over to Katie's house to meet his cousin Chunky the bulldog! Thanks a million for all the quality babysitting and good times! I am so happy to have my siblings together!

We stayed at Jason's cousin's house in Fernindina Beach Friday night. Angela made tacos and Cynthia came over to visit. Angela's baby (Sammy) is a sweet dog and was very curious about Wil. He liked sniffing and licking him and hopped beside me every time I fed Wil! We watched the Olympics and Angela peeled Wil a carrot for a nutritious chew toy! We introduced Wil to his first buffet style restaurant-the great Shoney's breakfast buffet! He got cranky when he saw our loaded plates and would not settle down until he had some grits and gravy! Messy but delicious! Afterwards we visited Jason's Aunt Josie (Pa's sister) in Yulee for some good conversation over Pepsis! Thanks for the food and laughs Angela!

Meeting new friends

Last Friday my good friend Melanie stopped by with her son Austin for a morning visit. They were going "back to school" shopping and wanted to meet Wil while in Gainesville. Melanie had been wanting to meet Wil for a while now and it was good to see him in her arms!
On the way over to Jacksonville, we stopped by the Romeros. The Romero's have asked Jason to stop by for a visit and we had such a good time. Mrs Romero gave us some pears off her tree-Wil enjoyed the core of mine! Wil seemed to enjoy the Romeros, but Mrs. Romero's dog Benji made the best playmate! I wish you could have seen him laughing hysterically and continuously at the little dog! He would cackle and smile everytime Benji barked!

Ji meets Wil!

Ji stopped by to meet Wil Monday night. She brought a bottle of wine, two boxes of ice cream and a few laughs! Its hard to say whether Wil liked the peach or strawberry better! Ji told us she's not the biggest baby girl but Wil made a fan out of her!

Back to our travels!

The grindstone took us to Jacksonville for our first adventure of the season. Becky volunteered to babysit and we met up with our longtime pals Brenda and Clarence. Lisa swung by for a visit before we left in our teal and black. After the game we all watched the Olympics together and Aunt Becky made pancakes for breakfast Sunday!

Kasey's All Star Shower

We all threw Kasey a sports themed baby shower for Wyatt a couple of weekends ago. It was nice to spend the whole weekend with Jason's family in Crawfordville at Wes's house. Camden and Becky even came out. Theres not much better than a Gator game, but this came close!

Wil meets his Great Grandpa Hoyt!

Wil and I took a day trip to Perry to meet up with Mom at Grandpa Hoyt's house. Uncle David joined us and we had so much fun! We ate a fried mullet, cheese grits, hush puppies and salad. We climbed on Grandpa's tractor and pretended to plow the field. By the time we got back home Jason was missing his farmboy pretty bad. He scooped him in his arms and Wil told him all about his day!

Wil's first Teeth!

On Thursday night, July 25th, we found out why Wil drools so much and is always trying to chew on us! He has two tiny incisors on the lower jaw coming through! After a little effort we have a picture of teeth numbers O and P! We got him a teething ring and he is a little interested. The best chew toy is my hand! Breastfeeding may get a little more uncomfortable now but we are happy to see the pearly whites!
