Homecoming!

Homecoming found us at Gator Growl Friday night with Melanie and Todd. We watched comedian John Reep and listened to the Steve Miller Band. Wil loved the music and watching the fireworks too! The next day the Farmers rolled into the Swamp! Aunt Mary offered to babysit as she watched the game from our house (Thank you!) The rest of us watched the Gators embarass UK! We ate tacos at home-Wil tried to eat James's hat! We watched more football and Aunt Mary showed us a few new tricks!

Marisa comes down and we go over!

We were thrilled to get a night and morning with Marissa! Wil and I picked her up at the airport and we just hung out, cooked, made beads, entertained Wil, watched Survivor, watched the Rays beat Boston, and shared some laughs! I dropped her off to her Dad the next day but I wanted to take her with me to Alabama again! We dropped Wil off with his cousins in Crawfordville, traveled to Bama, came home and held Wyatt. I only got to hold him a little b/c someone was getting jealous! It was fun to see Wil being held by his older cousins! They all get along so well!

Wyatt's arrival and LSU!

Whoa! What a weekend! It began excitedly with a hurried drive to Tallahassee to welcome in Wil's new cousin, Wyatt Hollington! Wyatt was born around 10:30 on Friday night and we got there about 10 minutes after he was born! (See Kasey's blog!) It was sweet to see him weighed, measured, cleaned and wrapped up! He is a pretty baby and very fun to hold! Then we ran back to Gainesville the next day because Jason's Uncle Joe, Aunt Robin, Aunt Sharon and her neice Alisha were coming down for the LSU game. We enjoyed showing them around campus, taking them to the Gator Walk and cheering on our Gators to an exciting and satisfying victory over the Tigers from LSU!

Waiting on Wyatt!

Because the Gators were in Arkansas on this weekend we decided to travel to Arkansas. Grandma Terry, Aunt Kasey, Uncle Wes, Uncle Jake and Aunt Jenny offered to babysit b/c they were staying at Wes's in anticipation of Wyatt's birthday. We bought some pumpkins for the kids and they made the nicest props for some family photos. Kasey was a good sport and let us draw a Jack-o-lantern face on Wyatt! An hour and 67 pictures later...:)

Wil's first Gator game

Brian and Lindsay came over to meet Wil and go to the Old Miss game with us. Its always fun when Brian's around and he looked cute with Wil! He kept remarking about how much Wil takes after Jason! With the exception of loosing the game by one point and sunblock running in Wil's eyes, it went well! We spent a lot of time under the bleachers so we are thinking that maybe we should wait till next year to take him again! At one he should be able to keep up with the game better!

A trip to Camdens!

Hey Guys! Wil here-Just wanted to tell you about my awesome weekend at my cousin Camden's house! Mom and Dad planned to go to NC to Grandma and Grandpa's house, but Aunt Becky was needing us to come to Jacksonville, so we changed the plans! Grandma and Grandpa instead came to Jacksonville. We visited Aunt Becky in the hospital, chewed on our first teething biscuits (Yum!)played with Camden and his cool toys, hung out with the Grands and Uncle Kevin's peeps! In fact we all watched our football games together at Joani's house! We got home early Sunday and played on the bed! Not the weekend we had planned, but we sure had fun and Aunt Becky is back in shape again! (See Becky's blog!)

Kicking Hurricane butt!

Grandma Terry, Grandpa Ralph and Aunt Jenny came into town and helped babysit so that Jason, Ryan, Vanessa and I could witness the Miami Hurricanes go down! Wil gets his best spoiling when grandparents babysit! Even though it was a brief visit with Ryan and Vanessa, we always enjoy it! On Sunday we found a baby squirrel on the driveway. Terry took "Peanut" home with her to raise. She told us to come visit Peanut before he gets too big!
