Home to Freeport

We just enjoyed a trip to Freeport for Jason's Birthday weekend. We jumped on the trampoline, went to Granny's, rode Granpa Ralph's bike, met more furry friends and ate Jason's Birthday Manna (Rice Krispy)cake. On Saturday Jenny, Jason and I cooked Grandma Terry a big birthday dinner and Tina brought over a Tiramisu trifle cake. I love eating with Hollingtons! We went to church on Sunday and heard a good sermon by brother Ken and were pleasantly surprised when Jason's good friend Mark came in with Cameron. We all went for Chinese for lunch-thanks for watching Wil and letting us eat, Jessie! Then we went over to Mark and Sarah's for a brief visit. They have some adorable and energetic kids and Wil enjoyed romping with the boys before making the long trip back home!

Fencing at Grandpa Hoyt's

On MLK weekend we finally took down the Christmas tree and then headed over to Perry to help Grandpa Hoyt put up and repair a fence. The work crew consisted of Grandpa Hoyt, Uncle David, Grandpa Dan, Jason, Bill and the wives and children! Wil and Wyatt had fun playing together and us womenfolk stayed busy keeping them out of things! Mom cooked up a storm and we all enjoyed the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.Memorial Cake!

My first Basketball Game!

Mom and Dad took me to my first Gator basketball game when the Gators played Old Miss. My first football and basketball game turned out to be Old Miss-This time we beat them! I got to see Tim Tebow and a few others at halftime. I met new friends-Mike, Marjorie, and Albert! I got to show off the new bib Grandma Mona made me and I cheered really loud! Mom and Dad taught me not to yell when Nick Calethes was at the free throw line. We danced to "Call Me Al" and practiced all the Gator cheers. I had a great time and fully expect to go to more basketball games!

National Chompians!

2008 was an awesome year for our family! First Wil arrived, then Obama is elected (and Bush is kicked out!) and then we win the National Chompionship! Sabrina was kind enough to watch Wil as we headed for Miami. We hung out a little with Gator buddies and cheered the Gators on to victory! On Sunday we took Wil to the Chompianship celebration at the Swamp. What a nice way to commemorate his birth year!

9 Months

Here are some pictures from around the house. It's hard to believe Wil is nine months old now! Where has this year gone? Wil is crawling faster every day. He is standing and even took a few steps tonight. I hope he doesn't feel like he needs to grow up fast for his little sister!
