We traveled to St. George Island for Aaron and Jessica's wedding. Jason and Aaron are first cousins. It was a sweet wedding on the beach and the food was good! We had fun visiting with all the family. Aaron, Jessica and Brayden make a cute family and we were proud to witness their union! Elsie slept through most of it but she did lose the umbilical cord! Wil loved the beach! Jason said he kicked and screamed every time he was carried off! We had fun wading and wishing the new couple many happy years!

The "Grand" tour!
Just over a week old and Elsie is hitting the open road! She travels so easy! Unlike Wil, she hasn't learn to dislike the carseat! We took the kids west to see all of their great grandparents, Gma Terry's and anyone else we could squeeze in! She got a lot of visits at Jason's cousin Aaron's wedding on Saturday-see blog! First was Great Grandma Jane in Tallahassee. It was fun to see her hold Elsie and listen to Grandma's stories about her babies! Its funny how much has changed since then and how much hasn't!! Then we drove on into Freeport and stopped by Jason's Granny, Sara. We heard a few more stories about how those strong women used to do it and then we drove over to Grandma Terry's for some homeade lasagna! Tina, Gerald and Aubriyah came over and Grandma played with Wil and Elsie while we got ready for the wedding. Aubriyah brought Elsie some of her favorite hand-me-downs! We drove over to the wedding and afterwards stayed with Wes and Kasey and kids in Crawfordville. Hester and her mom brought the kids over to meet Elsie and then Farrah came over to meet the old girl! After some good visiting and a delicious lunch served by Kasey, we left for Perry. Our last stop was dinner with Grandpa Hoyt. I was looking forward to this b/c Elsie is named after my late Grandma Elsie, Grandpa Hoyt's wife. He is so cute with babies! It was good to see Hoyt and Elsie together again! It was also good to see some of my extended family on Mom's side also. So many good times this weekend-all in one trip!
Elsie on her generational blanket!
Here are a few pics of Elsie on her generational blanket. Aunt Katie knitted the background squares, my Great Aunt Pinkie made the roses and leaves and Grandma Mona put it all together.
More visits!
Mommy found more pictures of me with my visitors. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I have been enjoying the attention! Love, Elsie:)

Getting to know Elsie
Elsie has had many good visits lately. Both Grandma's were here at her birth. Aunts Jenny, Becky, and Katie. Aunt Kasey with Uncle Wes, Zac, Gracie and Wyatt. Great Uncle Stanton and Manita. Sara and Elaine. Great Uncle David and Great Aunt Jeanie made their maiden voyage to our house for Elsie. We have appreciated all the visits and are enjoying observing Wil with Elsie too! Grandma and Grandpa make the best babysitters for me so I can do this!
Elsie is here!!
Elsie is here! Elsie Rose Hollington was born April 16th (right on her due date!) at 12:04 in the morning! Another midnight birth for us! However, this one was like jumping out of an airplane! I started with light contractions at 8pm and by the end of our movie, it was time to head to the hospital! Grandma Terry and Aunt Jenny were staying with us and were able to bring Wil up to the hospital. Grandma Mona and Grandpa Dan made it just in time! By the time I was examined, she was on her way out! No Dr. had made it in, just 3 excited nurses! We got to the hospital around 11:40pm and she was born 20 minutes later! It was such and adrenaline rush I had to ask Jason, "Did that just happen?!" She weighed in at 6 lbs, 6 oz. and 18 inches long. So far, it looks as though she has my legs and maybe blue eyes. Dark hair like Jason's. She looks like a mix of Camden and Wil. Speaking of Wil, he is adjusting sweetly to her. He likes to put his head up to hers. He is a little rough at times, but I think he is realizing that she is his! She really is a pretty little girl. Her appetite gets bigger everyday. We are so happy with her! She's a keeper! Be on the lookout for more pictures because she is pretty photogenic!
B-day party and Easter!
To celebrate Adyson and Wil's first birthday, Sara and I threw the kids an awesome first birthday party! Sara worked hard and made the decorations, goody bags, and a three tier birthday cake! We had a good time mixing up the familys and the kids all enjoyed the water! Wil and Adyson shared a smash cake with a guest of honor, Wil's cousin Wyatt. Wyatt was born the April 2nd, Adyson on the 4th, Wil on the 5th! We had burgers, hot dogs and cake. What a good time!
We colored eggs after the party and went to bed early. Easter morning found us getting into our Easter baskets with the kids. Then we washed off the chocolate and decided to show them the real meaning of Easter by taking them all to church! Everyone looked so good in their Easter clothes and Grandma Mona treated us to a Easter ham feast! We went for an egg hunt down by the creek and Zac won the egg hunt! Over the course of the weekend we had about 20 people here at the house. That includes 4 pregnant women! It was so good to have everyone here under one roof. I was hoping we would have another guest to pop out, but she must have wanted Wil to have all the fun to himself! Hope everyone had a joyous Easter! We loved it!

An afternoon at Michelle and Tony's
Wil and I attended church with Tony, Michelle and Olivia and then ate lunch and played at their house afterwards. Jason was away at a CEU conference and he missed all the fun! It was so sweet to have them entertain Wil for me-being round with Elsie takes it's toll! Michelle's mom made a yummy lunch and we consumed my B-day cookies!

A baby shower and two birthdays!
We went home to Freeport to help throw Jenny a baby shower. We stayed at Wes and Kasey's Friday night and we all drove over together. Kasey, Gracey, Wil and I all took off for the shower while the boys headed to Terry's house to help build a back porch. Terry gathered a work crew and the porch is big and beautiful thanks to everyone's hard work! But the real fun was had at Jenny's shower! Jenny is turning out to be such a cute and sweet mother already and we enjoyed seeing her get into all the baby items! Later that night we partied down with an informal B-day party for Wil. Wil insisted on using a spoon (because he is a big boy!) for the cake! He made a mess, we bathed him, opened gifts and went to bed! Church was fun on Sunday-My Birthday and our 6th wedding anniversary. We ate Chinese afterwards and headed for home. We stopped at my Grandpa Hoyt's house for a brief visit. He turned 80 on March 21st! He had visitors already so we just joined the party! Uncle David, Aunt Jeanie, Aunt Dee, cousins Jim and Kelly and the lovely Abigail greeted us! Wish weekends like this were longer!
