A Fathers Day Feast!

We were invited for a Fathers Day Feast in Perry complete with homeade bisquits, cabbage peas and banana pudding! David and Jeanie joined us and Wil had full run of the house! We all shared a favorite story of our fathers, passed Elie around and moved fragile items out of Wils reach! What an awesome Fathers Day! Hope everyone's was as nice as ours!

Elsie meets her Boston Auntie!

Marisa drove up from Tampa to come spend some time with us and meet Elsie. She got a lot of talking and smiles out of Elsie. Marisa is good for that! I enjoyed catching up and hearing all the news. Wil enjoyed his new toys and books-Thank you Ris and Mr. and Mrs. C! It was so sweet of Ris to come up and see us again!

Dinner and 2 baths!

Jesse, Sara, Adyson, Anya and Arianna came over for dinner Friday. Wil and Ady were very excited to see each other again! She has gotten big-and fast! It was a challenge getting dinner ready as they ran underfoot and Elsie cried for her dinner! I got a lot of help from Sara and Anya. We had chicken pot pie, salad, and the crowd-pleasing Baklava! After dinner we treated Wil and Adyson to their first bath together. They are so cute together! It was good to see Jesse holding Elsie for the first time too!

A day at the pool

Sabrina, Tanner and Eric came over for a fun-filled day at our house. We ate, walked to the creek, walked to the pool for a dip and then walked back for ice cream! By that time Jason was home and he took Wil and Tanner up to the stadium. Tanner is a big Gator fan and he was excited to see the Swamp! It gave Sabrina and I a chance to catch up-Elsie and Eric napped through our conversation!

Elsie meets Uncle Bill

The kids and I loaded up and headed to Perry for a day trip. Bill, Becka and Wyatt have been staying with Mom, Dad and Grandpa so it was the pefect opportunity for them to meet Elsie and get the monkeys (Wil and Wyatt) together. Mom kept us all fed like always! It was fun to watch Bill & Becka with Elsie and the boys were so cute together too! Uncle David & Aunt Jeanie provided plenty of laughs and its always good to see Grandpa Hoyt! The highlight of the day was tub-time!

Holligton Reunion 09

The Sunday after Travis's wedding found us sipping lemonade and iced tea at Sid and Melinda's for the Hollington reunion. The kids played on the zip line and drove Betsy (Sid's golf cart) around. The grown-ups ate delicious food and caught up with everyone. It was another fun reunion with the Hollingtons!

Travis and Cassie Nuptials

On June 6th, We all attended Travis and Cassi's wedding. The ceremony was at a beautiful church on a lake in Defuniak Springs. A brick church with a white steeple, working bells and a pipe organ. The only thing prettier than the church was Cassi! Afterwards the reception was held at Robin's mom's house under a tent. Joe,Robin,Sharon worked hard on the food which was delicious! We loved the wine-thanks Joe! The DJ was fun and he had a drumset for the kids to beat. We all had a great time and can't wait to see Travis and Cassi here for a Gator game!

Else meets the girls at Aleesha's shower

My boss, Dr. Aleesha Friemuth had her little baby boy, David on Friday. Ever the slacker, I am just now blogging about her shower! It was a fun shower with good food-but no games! Sabrina and her boys volunteered to babysit Wil for me after spending the day and lunch at her house. Sabrina had fun protecting Wil from the three big boys-Tanner, Eric and Wil! I enjoyed showing Elsie to all of my girls! It was a day for babies and we can't wait to meet little David too!

Elsie meets Lisa

Lisa came by to meet Elsie recently! It was a sweet visit! We talked about raising kids and I got a lot of advice! Lisa loves butterflies gardening and we ended the visit by walking around outside identifying our plants and trees and figuring out what types of butterflies call our yard home!
