Grandparents and Gators!
This past weekend was so much fun! We took one long road trip up to North Carolina to see Grandma Mona, "Pa Pa" Dan, Great Grandpa Hoyt and Aunt Grandma Laura. The Kimbles and Grandpa Hoyt had been up a day earlier to take Grandpa to see some friends and they volunteered to watch the kids for us as we headed over to Lexington Kentucky for the Gator game. Except for Tebow getting hurt, it was an awesome road game. Our pitstop on the way up to NC was the aquarium again. Elsie seemed to get more into it this time. We were so relieved to get out of the car at Dad and Moms! Laura fed us and we watched America's Funniest Videos, admired new yard sale finds and Elsie's brand new custom bibs! Later Wil found a singing toad that everyone ejoyed-even Grandpa Hoyt! My Grandpa doesn't travel much so it was a big deal to have him up in NC with all of us! The weather got so cool we had to throw a blanket over his lap Sunday morning! This was a special weekend and we didn't want to see it end!

UF vs UT
For the UT game we had Jon, Travis and Cassi, Gary & Ji, and Jake & Kim over. Jake & Kim were sweet enough to give Jason and I a date night. They watched the kids while we yelled and celebrated another win over UT. I especially loved how the Gators deprived Lane Kiffen out of singing Rocky Top all night long! It was so good to get caught up with everyone for football and laughs!
UF vs Troy
Grandma Terry, Aunt Jenny, Joe, Aubriyah and Jenny's pal Chris came to Titletown for a visit and to watch the Gators beat Troy. Jason, Wil, Jenny, Chris and I did the Gator Walk and game while Grandma, Gator girl and the gator babies watched the game on TV. It ended up being a wet game and Wil was not keen on staying under a poncho or our rain jackets. We stayed for a while but decided to take him home after he squirmed through the hood of his poncho! We loved coming home to our little cheering section! After a little shopping on Sunday the gator gang headed back and we miss them already!
UF vs Charleston Southern (Wil's first 09 game)
Our folks in Perry were sweet enough to babysit so that we could enjoy the first game of the season and bring Wil to his first game this year. It was UF vs Charleston Southern so we thought we'd have a few empty seats around but it was pretty packed! Wil did great! He showed off his Gator chomp, high fived everyone and only got squirmy at the end of the game! Walking from the car up to the stadium was fun! Wil had his mouth open the whole time. I don't think he'd ever seen so much orange and blue!
Down on the Farm
We had the greatest trip back to the Grandpa Hoyt's farm for the family reunion! I will try to add some pictures of the reunion as I get them from Dad. It was good to see the whole Carlton clan (my mom's side). The best part about the reunion was when my little sister Katie told the entire fellowship hall she was pregnant!!! Finally Katie will join the ranks! She is due in April and by the time that one is born Dad and Mom will have 7 grandchildren all under age 3! Mom, Dad, Grandpa, the Baileys and the Kimbles watched Elsie for us while we took Wil to his first Gator game this year. Then we returned to Perry to visit more and Mom and Dad babysat while we took off for the FSU/UM game. I think our kids are really liking Perry. Wil loves the exploring, ice cream, tractor rides and playing with Camden and Wyatt! Elsie likes laying on her back and kicking her feet up with Ramona! She also likes dancing with Aunt Becky to the puppet show scene of "The Sound of Music!" The pictures turned out fuzzy but she had the biggest smile on her face while she danced for us!
