A sweet little visit and a birthday party!

Mom, Dad and Grandpa Hoyt stayed with us the weekend after Valentines. We had so much fun showing Grandpa around! I was so thankful he made the long trip over here because he is the type that prefers the comfort of his own bed! Mom cooked a batch of Parmesian Chicken for us Friday night and we just chilled out while Jason and Dad worked on the chain linked fence gate in the back! The kids entertained us, Mom finished my dress for Katie's baby shower and we watched old home videos of Jason's family. Grandpa told Jason that he thinks he would have gotten along real well with Pa. Jason and I both were blessed with wonderful grandfathers!
After the Perry bunch left for home, we headed to Dylan and Samantha's birthday party. These are classmates of Wil's at A Child's Academy (day care). It was pretty much all of his class. We know the kids well, but we had so much fun meeting the parents of all those wild ones! We never ran out of things to talk about and we all played with all of them like they were our own! I never thought a party full of 2 year olds could be so much fun!

Valentines Day!

This was Elsie's first Valentines and the second for our little lover, Wil! They shared conversation hearts, Reces Peices and M n M's and I loved my roses! I took Wil and Elsie up to Wil's Day Care class on Friday and we had Valentines Lunch with the ACA bunch! God bless those patient women! On Saturday I cooked a fancy Valentines candlelight dinner and we watched a movie upstairs on our new satin sheets! Its hard to catch Wil before he escapes your grasp to roll around nude in the soft satin sheets! On Sunday we exchanged valentines and went to church in our red and pink! It was a LOVEly Valentines Weekend!

Home Sweet Home

Life slows down for us this time of year and we get to stay home, get organized and make more nature walks or park visits. Life is good!

Terry's Birthday and Christmas with Stacy

We took another trip west to Freeport to celebrate Terry's birthday! Our old buddy and favored former roomate Brian was there and we had fun grilling burgers, baking strawberry shortcake, passing to babies around and having birthday margaritas! It was cold but I enjoyed my sister in laws and seeing everyone over at Terry's again. I have a great mom-in-law and I think she had a happy birthday too!
On the way back home we stopped at Stacy's for the afternoon. We didn't get to see her at Christmas so we celebrated a late Christmas dinner with Stacy, Courtney, Sara, Alex, Wes, Kasey, Zac, Gracey and of course, the Wolf-Man! Little Wyatt is walking now and we had fun watching his first wobbly steps! Everyone had fun chasing Axl and Millie around and sorting through old embarrassing pictures! What a fun weekend!

Jason's Birthday!

We are well into 2010 and you can tell because Jason is acting older! His birthday was January 23rd and we were surprised with a brief visit Friday night by my parents! After that birthday surprise, Jason had the rest of the weekend to himself! He chose to stay home, go for a walk through the woods, go to church and watch the basketball game! We made him a Rice Krispy cake and the kids gave him some advice on staying young! Happy Birthday Jason! We love you!
