Our second home game

Well the Kentucky game was a night game so it was a little more managable! This time we stayed till halftime! (Sigh!) Kids sure have changed us! The person who invented Tivo must have been a parent! The kids were well behaved and enjoyed the game experience, but its just too nice at home!

Our first game (sort of!) and Birthday Celebrations!

The weekend after our Labor Day getaway was a busy one, but a lot of fun! We decided to stop by the Struekens for a pre-game visit-mainly to see the girls all dressed up in their orange and blue! Madeline is a growing little thing and she is so tiny and adorable! I enjoyed seeing Olivia interacting with her, but the big kids were all keyed up to see each other again! Then we took the stroller up to the game. It happened to be one of the hottest games on record in the Swamp and we literally ran into sunblock issues! Sunblock running into the kids eyes and my kids don't do sunhats! We decided they would be more comfortable at home so 6 minutes into the game, we headed home! We chilled out and rested up for Helena's 3rd birthday party at the park. Tim and Kristie have a really cool family and we had fun partying with the kids from school too. On Sunday we met up with Chloe at the Rock Creek park. Her mom, Christy works at A Child's Academy and she introduced us to Shawn. They are a cute couple and do well keeping up with crazy Chloe! We all went back to our house when the rain started and enjoyed the evening together pulling out all the toys and bouncing in cribs!

Georgia Aquarium with Grandma and Pepaw!

On Sunday we went fishing for fun at the Georgia Aquarium. We had fun showing Grandma and Pepa the whale sharks, manta rays, potatoe grouper and belugas! Not to mention all the other tiny critters! I don't think we have ever had that much help before at the aquarium with the kids! It was an exciting weekend in Atlanta and the best part was we were able to share it with Grandma and Pepa!

Zoo Atlanta!

We worked the Chik-Fil-A Kickoff classic and decided to turn Labor Day weekend into a fun weekend for the kids as well. Grandma Terry and Pepa met us at the hotel after spending Friday at the Zoo Atlanta. This was the first trip to a zoo and the kids enjoyed identifying and showing us the sign for all the animals! Wil's newest favorite animal is the tiger! My favorite is the panda and we got a lot of good pictures with pandas and my little bears! The pigs and sheep seemed to enjoy the extra attention from those tiny hands! The kids rode on their first carousel ride and we all piled onto the zoo train!

Welcome Little Eli!

Grandma Terry and Pepaw watched Elsie and Wil for us while we took a trip to the New Orleans Saints preseason game. We enjoyed New Orleans and knew the kids were in the best hands in Freeport. Stacey was there for the day and she rode with Terry and Granny over to Tina's to pick grapes. I am not sure how helpful Joe, Wil and Elsie were but I know they had fun playing at Tina's house! Jason and I stopped by to meet our youngest Hollington, Eli Joseph. Travis and Cassi make cute new parents and they invited us over to introduce the kids. Elsie gave him lots of kisses and then we had to be on our way back home!
!

Aleesha's Pool Party!

Aleesha had us all over at her house for lunch and a pool party! It was nice to see all of my co-workers again since we are so scattered all over Marion county! Plenty of babies to hold and swim with! Aleesha has such a cute little family and her man David is just as generous and hospitable as she is! The babies all had a good time together and us girls just talked and talked and talked! Time to start planning the next one!

Fun with the Kimbles!

Jason and I planned on a Miami Dolphin trip and were to leave the kids with Bill and Becka to babysit for us. Both kids felt under the weather Friday night so we decided to stay and play with the Kimbles! They made us feel right at home! We summoned Katie and Melanie over and we just had a party! Becka and I had an exciting trip to the grocery store, we grilled out, ate a ton of pasta salad, played outside in the swing and on the porch, played in the water hose, played a crazy card game and laughed until our stomachs hurt!

Summer at Rock Creek

Since March we have been working steady on our new backyard. We had sod laid and have been learning more about how to keep it alive! Raking, throwing sand down, mowing, weeding and getting help with putting more sunshine on the ground. The tree service guys make Wil's day when they leave their equipment in the driveway! We have also put in a lot of trees to help add privacy. Its coming around and we are ready for a rest! We have wrapped up Wil's gymnastics classes and are working hard on potty training (that's why you see a nude Wil in most of these pics!) We have worked hard but have managed to throw in a lot of fun too!

Sea World!

We had so much fun at Bill and Becka's recently when we took a trip to Sea World with them! We decided to do a half day and catch the Shamu Rocks show and fireworks extravaganza! Wearing the kids out for nice long naps helped-the park was good for that! Then it was off to Sea World. We decided to start the day off right with the Shamu show in the splash zone! (This is why I don't have many pictures and why we looked like drowned rats the rest of the day!) After meandering through the park taking in beluga whales, polar bears, a walrus, manatees, dolphins, seals, fishies, flamingos, turtles, stingrays, (have I left out anyone?) we caught the sea lion/otter show. That was cute but Shamu definately steals the show! We seemed to commence community diaper changes outside the stadiums before the shows! The Shamu Rocks show was set to rock music and was a little more energetic at night. A lot more energetic than us at that point! The fireworks were cool because they were fired off over the water with a fountain display to match. We decided to park the strollers by the lake instead of inside the stadium and this was closer to the exit! Elsie was asleep by the time we got to the parking lot and we heard a lot about Orcas from Wil for the next few days afterward!
