The last week of June through the first of July found us on vacation. For the past 3 years now we have seemed to end up in Washington DC, West Virgnia and North Carolina. On the way up to West Virginia we visited the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta and the Smithsonian museum of Natural History in DC. We had so much fun at those places and Wil loved both. We also took some awesome pictures before our camera was stolen! Needless to say we were pretty bummed after that! We did stop by the Aquarium again on our way back down. We broke down and got another camera just in time for our visit with Stanton. Stanton and Anita took us to historic Blennerhassett Island in Parkersburg. It was interesting and gorgeous and easy enough to do with kids and strolles! It is accessed by way of a paddle steam boat-that was fun too! We followed Canadian geese to the end of the island before heading back and then we looked up a few places from my childhood-my Great Grandparents' house (not there anymore) and the house where my Grandma Jane lived. My Dad's folks are from Parkersburg. We also stopped by Tim and Pam's new house and hung out at JW's BBQ for a while.

Wow, I could spend all day on their porch! Love the one of Wil and his sissy napping on the couch. It's sad to see Great G-ma's house is gone but it's neat you got to see G-ma Jane's house. I'm sure she appreciated the pic!
