Running into family in Gainesville!

Hester and Jake brought Karen and KC over for an overnight stay with us. They had an uncle who was brought up to Shands and the girls wanted to pay respects. When they asked if they could stay we said of course. KC and I were both training for our first half marathon-hers was 2 weeks ahead of mine. She told me her goal was 8-10 miles. I told her I would try to keep up! We had so much fun chatting while we ran that we ended up running about 11 miles! KC is the best running partner because she talks just as much as me and encourages me to keep pushing and forget the pain! She ended up making her goal for the 13.1 and I was proud of her! It was so cute to see Karen with her 2 girls- they all have the same voice and mannerisms and they were a joy to have over! (So was Jake!)
